Beaumont Dance Academy, 709 Beaumont Ave, Beaumont · verified Oct 9
    See details

Begin your Argentine Tango journey with a welcoming series created for first-time dancers and newer students. This progressive program focuses on building solid basics, graceful posture, musical awareness, and comfortable movement for real-world social dancing rather than performance. No partner or prior experience is required, and curiosity is the only thing you need to bring. Each session includes guided technique to develop balance, walking, connection, and other core skills, followed by a social tango segment that explores flow, improvisation, musicality, and floorcraft. A complimentary practica is available for enrolled students to apply what they have learned in a supportive setting. Pricing options include a $15 drop-in, a 6-class package for $70, and a 10-class package for $120. Payment is accepted via Venmo, Zelle, or cash. Prepaid punch cards can be used at both Beaumont and Riverside locations, and each site offers different material so you can experience a wider range of concepts while using the same card. Wear comfortable clothing. Special tango shoes are not required, and dance socks, jazz shoes, ballet shoes, or any smooth-soled footwear work well. Because tango is danced in close embrace, good hygiene is appreciated.
