Lessons begin with technique, posture, balance, walking, and connection, then move into social dancing with focus on flow, improvisation, musicality, and floorcraft. No partner or prior experience is needed, and the emphasis is on social dance rather than performance. Enrolled students may stay for a complimentary practica to reinforce what was learned. Pricing options include a $15 drop-in, a 6-class package for $70, and a 10-class package for $120. Payment is accepted via Venmo, Zelle, or cash. Prepaid punch cards work at both the Beaumont and Riverside locations, with each offering different class content while honoring the same card. Wear comfortable clothing. Special tango shoes are not required, and dance socks, jazz or ballet shoes, or other smooth-soled footwear work well. Because tango is danced in close embrace, considerate hygiene is appreciated.
