Catch A Doll’s House, Part 2 at the Long Beach Playhouse. This bold new comedy-drama by Lucas Hnath follows Nora Helmer as she returns to the life she left behind fifteen years earlier, bringing an urgent request for her former husband. As she navigates that reunion, she also has to face the people she left behind and the words they have for her. Directed by Phyllis Gitlin, the production is both a continuation of Ibsen’s story and a thoughtful look at how much has changed over the years.
