Sheet music and a vocal practice track are provided in advance to help everyone get comfortable with the material. A performance video will be recorded at the end as a keepsake of the experience. Teens and adults are welcome. The session is facilitated by Jessica Wilbert, a former musical theater performer and violinist, with support from Chris Fore and Brigitte Bellavoine. The setting is designed to be accessible, meeting ADA standards with accessible restrooms, mostly level ground without steps, dedicated parking spaces, a wheelchair ramp, and wide doorways and walkways.

A special Orange County screening of "Winter Hymns" includes a post screening Q&A with writer and director Nathan Deming. The film follows a Midwestern palliative care physician as she meets with patients nearing the end of life and the families who surround them, offering an intimate portrait of care and connection.
