Conroy has written eight books, including Shooting Stars and Blazing Guitars and I’m Just Sayin'. Over a 35 year career he taught theater and public speaking in San Jose public schools and storytelling at San José State University, and he wrote and directed the rock themed musicals Hip Van Winkle, Revenge of the Flower Children, and Rock and Roll Must Die. The performance runs about 1 hour and 40 minutes, including a 20-minute intermission, and is recommended for ages 2 and up.
