Foundational skills are introduced, including settling calmly on a mat, sitting when asked, coming when called, walking politely on leash, and touching a target. The curriculum also covers early-life essentials such as preventing resource guarding, building comfort with crates, house training, and managing teething. This course meets once a week for six weeks at the same time each week, and this event is the first class in the series. Puppies must be 8 to 16 weeks old at the start of class.
