Tulare Parks & Recreation presents an outdoor screening of Zootopia 2 at Mulcahy Park. This is a free, family friendly movie night. Blankets and lawn chairs are recommended for a comfortable summer evening in the park.

This monthly work day in the garden brings the community together to care for the space. Lead volunteers offer guidance on tasks such as weeding, planting, composting, and other simple projects. No experience is required and all ages are welcome. Attendees are encouraged to bring friends and family, some water, and willing hands.

The Battle of the Dojos is a martial arts tournament at Hanford Civic Auditorium supporting St. Jude. Doors open before a black belt meeting, followed by the start of competition. Highlights include grand champion divisions. Black belt competitors can earn prizes in fighting and kata, and for under black belts, all first place kata winners advance to a final round to determine the grand champion. Children under 11 receive a free lunch courtesy of Raising Cane's Chicken.

The grand opening of Yo’Ville Farmers Market introduces a certified farmers market in West Fresno that centers community, culture, and connection. Visitors can explore farm-fresh fruits and vegetables from nearby growers, meet area farmers and vendors, listen to music, enjoy flavorful food, and take part in hands-on farm and garden activities suitable for all ages. EBT and WIC are accepted to help make nutritious choices more accessible. Woodward Park BMX Race Track hosts a weekly BMX race open to participants of all ages.
