Approved applicants may also contact foster homes to ask about the personalities of individual animals. Applications cannot be processed at the event, so plan ahead. Applications submitted after 5 pm Monday through Thursday begin review the next day, and those submitted Friday through Sunday begin review on Monday. Processing typically takes 1 to 2 business days. An approved application is required to handle animals at the event.
