Val Chillmer blends pop, funk, and jazz into a high energy mix inspired by artists like Stevie Wonder, Bruno Mars, and Herbie Hancock. The band features Valerie Vampola on keys and vocals, Kyle Cervantes on sax, Alfredo Balcacer on guitar, Gavin Wilson on bass, and Zack Hall on drums. They are crafting an EP of original music and also rework well known favorites, from a fusion flavored spin on Michael Jackson’s Billie Jean to stretching Play That Funky Music into long, improvisational jams.

Their fourth full-length album, Quitter, produced by Johnny K at Sonic Ranch, is their second release since signing with Warner Music Nashville and features some of their most candid writing as frontman Giovannie Yanez faces addiction, loss, and change while keeping the band’s loose, high-energy spirit.
