Through The Herbiculture Project, her current nonprofit, she works to localize herbal supply chains, strengthen community health, and support farmers in regenerative and profitable practices. Co-teacher Oliver Aurand is an organic farmer and founder of Friends Farm, with experience in permaculture, botany, foraging, and survival skills, offering a holistic view of diverse ecosystems and foodways. This gathering marks the first collaboration between The Herbiculture Project and Friends Farm, organizations connected by a shared commitment to community around food and herbal medicine. Dive into a two day, ten hour training devoted to adapting yoga for the prenatal and postnatal body with facilitator Angelena Sweet. Designed for yoga teachers who want to refine their skills and students looking to enrich a personal practice, this workshop explores the perinatal journey along with key anatomy and mental health considerations. Participants will learn to modify sequencing to support every trimester through a trauma aware, compassionate perspective, building confidence to serve pregnant and postpartum students in public classes while deepening their own movement practice. This training provides 10 Yoga Alliance continuing education hours. It is open to all genders and experience levels. Angelena Sweet (E-RYT 500, RCYT, RPYT, YACEP) is an adaptive yoga instructor, teacher trainer, and international retreat leader with a focus on pre and postnatal yoga, children’s yoga, yin, and vinyasa. She has taught prenatal and postnatal classes since 2015 and has been teaching yoga since 2013, with a goal of creating inclusive spaces and offering options that keep the practice accessible for every student.
