Farmfest Music Evening

As part of the Summer Music Evenings series, TIERRO Band with Bridget Law takes the stage at Sunflower Farm for live music alongside open animal areas and the usual Farmfest activities. Guests may bring chairs and blankets for a relaxed night on the farm. Formed in 2012, the group blends global influences into a Roma Grass sound. Fiddler Bridget Law, a founder of Elephant Revival, appears with guitarist Tierro Lee of Kan’Nal and Otis Taylor’s band, bassist Charles Parker Mertens whose background spans Indian ragas, American jazz, and tours with Thievery Corporation and Rapidgrass, percussionist Jonny Jyemo who trained in Cuba and Puerto Rico and performs on a setup built around cajon, bongos, and hi-hat, and tabla player Nabin Shrestha, born in Nepal and now based in Colorado. Together they present a globally influenced set shaped over more than a decade. Food and drinks will be available for purchase from It’s All Greek to Me and Palo Coffee & Bar, including non-alcoholic beverages and snow cones. If youth tickets are unavailable, adult tickets can be used instead.
