Age of Sigmar - Open Play
Casual tabletop gaming centered on Warhammer Age of Sigmar, with tables available for battles at any point level. Players can also jump into Warcry for a faster skirmish experience within the same setting. Bring a painted or unpainted force, connect with AoS hobbyists from the Denver area, and make use of a hobby table for building and painting between games. It runs as open play, free to attend and not organized as a tournament, letting you set the pace for games and conversation.
Happiness Showcase: Preschool Open House & Childcare Tour
An open house and childcare tour spotlights The Learning Experience’s early education programs, including options for infants, toddlers, preschool, and pre-K with an emphasis on kindergarten readiness. Visitors can explore the classrooms and modern learning spaces, meet the teaching and leadership teams, and learn how a proprietary curriculum nurtures growth across academic, social, emotional, and physical domains. The showcase highlights a blend of purposeful play, hands-on activities, and research-informed practices that support every child’s development. Staff will be available to answer questions about enrollment, tuition, schedules, and enrichment offerings. More than childcare, the environment is designed to build confidence, strengthen essential life skills, and inspire a lasting love of learning. Children are welcome, so families can experience the community together.
The Learning Experience LafayetteDad's Circle
Dad's Circle is a weekly gathering for fathers to build community and receive support. It is not a therapy group, but it provides a respectful space to voice concerns, ask questions, and explore the wide range of experiences and emotions that come with fatherhood. Babies up to 1 year old are welcome, and to help protect privacy and confidentiality, participants are encouraged to leave older children at home when possible. If plans change, cancellations made at least 12 hours in advance receive a credit that can be applied to a future session.
Puzzles and Pints
This casual gathering combines drinks, conversation, and puzzle solving near the bar. It offers a friendly way to meet new people while working on puzzles in a relaxed setting.
