Admission and parking are free.

A free food distribution run by NEST and Whole Foods provides food on a first come, first served basis. Quantities are limited, and distribution will continue only while supplies last. CCAR’s Recovery Walks 2026 brings Connecticut’s biggest recovery celebration to Bushnell Park. This gathering closes out National Recovery Month with a focus on uplifting stories, connection, and a powerful, positive face of recovery. The event is designed for individuals in recovery, their supporters, and allies. Highlights include live music, local vendors, and community connections, along with a ceremonial walk around the park. Dance It Out is a second annual dance party fundraiser at Parkville Market that lifts spirits with live music and plenty of time on the dance floor. Organized by staff from a homelessness service provider, it channels the energy of a dance party into support for work that helps people stay safe and find housing in uncertain times. Tickets are available on a sliding scale so attendees can contribute what they are able. No dance experience is required, just a willingness to move and support the mission.

Back by popular demand after a previous fundraiser in support of tech education, MakerspaceCT’s gala returns to the Gershon Fox Atrium for an evening of innovation, community, and celebration filled with energy, impact, and surprises. Guests can look forward to gourmet cuisine with elevated seasonal selections, an open bar featuring beer, wine, and a signature cocktail, a decadent dessert bar with artisan sweets, live music, vibrant networking, inspiring talks from community and industry leaders, exclusive behind the scenes tours of MakerspaceCT, highlights of hands on tech education programs, and exciting fundraising moments with a few unexpected twists.
