A high-spirited staging of one of the world’s most popular musicals brings the halls of Rydell High to life. The story follows Sandy, a new arrival at the school, and Danny, the charismatic head of the Greasers, as their relationship unfolds alongside the everyday triumphs and trials of their classmates. With a focus on youth, self-discovery, and the push and pull of peer pressure, the production captures the rush of adolescence through lively songs and dynamic dance. To provide a comfortable experience, this production has moved to Temple Beth El in an air-conditioned theater because the Enfield Annex auditorium does not have working air conditioning. The show is directed by Stevie Norman and Michael King, with music direction by Graham Christian and choreography by Chantel Martin.

Plush is an all-female rock band focused on returning rock to the spotlight. The group features singer, songwriter, producer and guitarist Moriah Formica, bassist and backing vocalist Ashley Suppa, and drummer Faith Powell, with members ranging from 21 to 24. Their catalog includes four Billboard Mainstream Top 40 songs in Hate, Better Off Alone, Left Behind, and Run. They have reached audiences across the United States and abroad through live performances supporting Disturbed, KISS, Alice in Chains, Evanescence, Daughtry, and Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators, and through appearances at Welcome to Rockville, Louder Than Life, Sonic Temple, and Rocklahoma, along with shows for members of the Armed Forces at home and overseas. The latest single, Why, released June 20, 2025, was co-written by Moriah Formica and David Draiman and co-produced by Moriah, David, and Grammy nominated producer Johnny K, and the band is working toward a new album planned for summer 2026. Major Moment brings a Boston-based pop metal sound that blends heavy guitar riffs, modern production, and melodic vocals, standing out for the interplay of male and female clean and extreme vocals that creates a unified contrast. Drawing from personal experience, their music aims to connect with listeners and encourage a purposeful path.

The Enfield Summer Concert Series features Little Lies, a tribute to Fleetwood Mac, at the Enfield Town Green. Enjoy live music in a family-friendly setting with food trucks on site. Attendees are welcome to bring lawn chairs and spend time with friends and family. The Enfield Culture and Arts tent offers event updates and a free craft for kids while supplies last. If weather becomes an issue, the concert will be moved to the following night, with updates posted on the ECAC Facebook page.

The Community Music School of Springfield brings an interactive Bomba pop up class to the East Springfield Branch library. Created for children, this session opens a window into Puerto Rican folklore through music and dance. Kids will try rhythms on traditional Bomba drums, including the barriles, and practice lively movements that match the beat. The playful call and response between drummers and dancers supports self expression, cultural connection, and growing coordination while keeping the focus on fun. CMSS instructors Brendaliz Cepeda and Saul Peñaloza lead the experience. Space is limited, and participation is offered on a first come, first served basis.

Destination Bike Night returns for Week 17 with a live performance by Cold Train, delivering a high energy tribute to the giants of Southern Rock and capturing their sound and soul on stage. The event takes place at Amvets Post 12 in Chicopee, with admission set at $5 at the gate. Presented by Throttle Rocker Nation.

Throttle Rocker Nation hosts the Bike Night After Party at Rumbleseat Bar & Grille in Chicopee, pairing live acoustic music with half-price appetizers offered all day. This edition features an acoustic set by Tony Bernardo.
