The 7th annual golf tournament at The Country Club of Wilbraham brings the community together in support of Jessy’s Fight and its mission to give hope. The organization is dedicated to raising funds for the D’Amour Center for Cancer Care within the Baystate Health Foundation, while also creating a space where people can gather and set aside the worries that come with cancer. This year’s event also pays tribute to Jessy’s mother, Sandra T. Cote, lovingly known as Mrs. C, with memorial donations welcomed in her memory. At the heart of the tournament is Jessy’s story. She was 27 when a cancerous brain tumor was discovered in 2017, and the strength of her husband, Sully, along with family, friends, and the wider community, helped her navigate the journey. Two clusters of unexplained pits sit close to the overlook, one across from the boulder and another along the yellow trail through a hemlock grove to the northeast, and their origin remains a mystery.
