Future of Healthcare Awards Ceremony
Presented by the Greater Bridgeport Medical Association, the first Future of Healthcare Awards honors exceptional healthcare professionals under 40 who are strengthening community health across Greater Bridgeport. Nominations poured in from across the region, highlighting the depth of talent, dedication, and leadership within the local healthcare workforce. Honorees span a wide range of disciplines, including physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, dental professionals, community health workers, and other emerging leaders. The celebration at Fairchild Wheeler Golf Course features a reception followed by dinner and an awards program. Tickets are $60 per person, and Patron Tickets are $100 with recognition in the event program. At a time when many in the field face heavy challenges and burnout, this event shines a light on the next generation committed to advancing health and healthcare in the region.

This weekly outdoor practice focuses on thrown weapons and is held weather permitting. Participants may bring their own knives, axes, or spears for inspection, or borrow equipment from the Barony's Thrown Weapons Marshall and host, Leon the Navigator. All attendees must follow Society of Creative Anachronisms thrown weapons rules and the host's directions.
