Hairstyling tools such as curling irons and hairdryers are welcome, as are eyeglasses and contact lens waste, writing instruments including pens, markers, glue sticks, mechanical pencils, and highlighters, and clean plastic takeout containers, noting that black plastic is not accepted. Squeeze pouches from items like applesauce and baby food can be dropped off, as can textiles in any condition including linens, clothing, and shoes, plus printer ink cartridges and toner, black plastic flower and plant pots, and phone cases with pop sockets. Larger plastic bottles, such as shampoo containers over 2 inches, should go into regular curbside recycling instead.
