It is open to all midwives (CNM, CMP, CM), advanced practice clinicians such as WHNP, FNP, and PA, midwife‑minded physicians, and students. Bring your own dinner and snacks to enjoy during the discussion. Hosted by Emerald Midwifery and Laurel Miller, CNM. Participation is free and no registration is required. Employment at the birth center is not necessary, and eligibility is limited to practitioners and students in reproductive healthcare.

Cecil County Adopt A Highway brings community members together at West End Gardens Motel Apartments for a hands-on roadside cleanup. Volunteers collect litter along local roadsides to help keep the area safe and attractive. The focus extends beyond picking up trash... it centers on teamwork, fresh air, and forming positive connections among people who want to make a difference. Participants may attend with friends or on their own and will be part of a group working toward a shared goal. No special skills are required, just a willingness to help and pride in the community. Each bag filled supports a cleaner environment and a stronger, more connected community.
