SilverServe Signature Luncheons are free community gatherings presented with the City of Wilton Manors, featuring a themed catered meal, guest speakers, learning opportunities, live entertainment, community resources, and complimentary raffles with prizes. The program helps older adults remain active, well informed, connected, and engaged. Events take place at venues in Wilton Manors that may include Hagen Park Community Center, Stafford Park also known as Island City Park, and The Women's Center. There is no admission fee, and an RSVP is required to assist with catering, seating, event setup, and other needs, including requests from funding partners. Venues are subject to change, and final details are provided in the RSVP confirmation.

Admission is free, and in addition to the food, there are vendors from local businesses. A volunteer-driven cleanup devoted to caring for South Florida beaches as part of the Fort Lauderdale Beach Sweep. Participants remove litter to keep the shoreline looking its best. Free parking is provided for volunteers, and an RSVP via the Eventbrite link is requested.

The market takes place at Veterans' Memorial Park. Our Time is a no cost expressive art therapy group and social gathering for LGBTQ+ adults 55 and older. Offered by SunServe, it takes place in person and pairs creative projects with conversation to cultivate connection in a supportive, nonjudgmental setting. Participants can share experiences, form meaningful relationships, and explore art together. All materials are provided, and a minimum four week commitment is requested. This weekly program centers on creativity, community, and mutual support.

Settle in for free Texas Hold'em with the RNR Poker League at The Federal, located upstairs at the Baptist Health IcePlex in Fort Lauderdale. There is no buy in and no registration fee, simply take a seat and play. Poker players enjoy half off select drinks, including house and draft beers and house wines. While you play, rack up Rock N Roll Poker League points, compete for venue gift cards, and work toward qualifying for a seasonal main event with more than $2,000 in prizes. Newcomers and seasoned players alike are welcome, and friendly professional dealers keep the tables running smoothly. Tips for the dealers are appreciated. A favorite around South Florida with more than 25 years of performances across the region, the group delivers a high energy blend of classic rock and pop hits with plenty of audience interaction. Rock N Roll Poker League hosts a free Texas Hold'em night at The Fitz Bar & Lounge. There is no buy-in to play, and friendly, professional dealers run the games with tips appreciated. Players can collect league points, win gift cards from the venue, and work toward qualifying for a seasonal Main Event that awards more than $2,000 in prizes. The Tea's Mac & Cheese food truck will be on site, and the bar serves drinks. Beginners and experienced players are both welcome.

SunServe and AVER host a free monthly in-person support group for LGBTQ+ veterans and active duty service members. Participants can meet others with shared service backgrounds, talk through lived experiences, and foster community in a welcoming setting that centers the realities of LGBTQ+ military life. Designed for children ages 5 to 12, this free 2.5-hour program explores nutrition, wellness, and the power of everyday choices to support personal health and the planet. Attendance requires an RSVP through Eventbrite. Activities span gardening, cooking demonstrations and food education, yoga and other movement, breathwork, mindfulness, and art. Educators introduce new vegetables to broaden tastes and encourage healthy eating, showing that good food can be enjoyable. In the garden, participants get hands-on with tasks like planting and mulching, then shift gears with active time before settling into creative art and inspiration. Monthly sessions feature fresh activities at each workshop, so continued participation is encouraged.
