This free 2.5 hour course welcomes children ages 5 to 12 to explore nutrition, wellness, and how everyday choices can support their own health while caring for the planet. They also get active with yoga and movement, then practice calming techniques like mindful breathing to help them focus. In the garden, participants dig into hands-on projects such as planting and mulching to see how food grows. After the active portions, the day winds down with art and creative inspiration.
