There is also a chance to earn an official Guinness adjudication, blending STEAM learning with playful competition and showing that anyone can strive to be a record breaker. Begin in an introductory theater with a film that traces the origins of GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS and its rise as the global authority on record breaking. Continue to a quiz that explains what qualifies as an official record and the scientific criteria behind it. Dive into remarkable feats, aim for top scores in the Attempt Arenas, and hear insights from an adjudicator and a scientist. Sharpen concentration with memory challenges, hands-on puzzles, and games inspired by techniques used by real record holders. Test reaction speed in fast paced activities, track progress on live leaderboards, and pick up tips for improving performance. Push endurance with challenges such as the hang bar and balance boards while learning about muscle fatigue and stamina. Conclude with a closing film featuring inspiring stories of record holders, then pose with official certificates to picture a place in the record books. Exhibit included with Museum admission. Presented locally by Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital.

This edition spotlights The Rock and Roll Review, celebrating songs from the 1950s through the 1980s that invite plenty of singing and smiles. Inspired by the beloved movie that sparked a stage phenomenon, the story centers on Lydia Deetz, a quirky teen who is grieving her mother and fascinated by the afterlife. When she and her father move into a home shared by a newly deceased couple and the unruly Beetlejuice, she asks the mischievous spirit to chase away the living, which opens the door to all kinds of otherworldly chaos. Performed by the 10 to 13 year old campers of the Broward Center and Performance Project Summer Camp, this production takes place at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. Lap seats may be purchased for children 12 months and under at the Broward Center’s AutoNation Box Office, and every person entering the theater must have a ticket.
