A free community health fair in South Dade welcomes everyone at Branches Florida City. Attendees can receive complimentary services that include breast exams and Pap tests, checks for blood pressure, blood sugar and cholesterol, and screenings for colon, skin and lung cancer. Additional offerings include dental and hearing screenings, vision and glaucoma checks, physical therapy guidance and emergency preparedness information, pediatric vaccines and developmental screenings, abdominal aortic aneurysm screening, and HIV and hepatitis C testing, along with other resources. Insurance coverage and immigration status do not affect eligibility. Special assistance is available.
