Food Trucks Wednesdays
Pelican Harbor Marina hosts a community food truck gathering on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs for a comfortable, picnic style experience. Free parking is available. The lineup includes erreicecream, quick grill, Los chamos, burger trap, Pizzafuga, 6 bbq, dulceen, tropical silver, Churromania, and latinsmash.

Black Sunday (1977), directed by John Frankenheimer, screens as part of a classroom series highlighting 1970s movies made in Florida. The story follows an Israeli counterterrorism agent racing to stop a plot that uses a hijacked blimp to launch a deadly attack on the Super Bowl. A discussion follows to examine each film’s significance and impact. The screening is held at Miami Dade College’s Wolfson Campus. There is no charge and it is open to all, and parking is available in the MDC Garage.

Parking is free.

In honor of Independence Day, South Florida highlights Peruvian cinema with a program at Koubek Center - Miami Dade College. The lineup features the films "1982" and "The Innocents" as part of the celebration. Additional screenings are also available in Broward County at Cinemaparadiso Hollywood and Savor Cinema Fort Lauderdale.
