An open play session welcomes participants of any skill level. Attendance can vary by day and location since walk-ins are fine, and bringing friends is encouraged. Paddles are available in the shed at Rohan and Clarendon, and other recreation centers offer paddles for checkout.

Market at the Depot gathers local vendors on the first and third Saturday each month. Expect a welcoming mix of handcrafted goods and homemade creations alongside fresh produce and plenty of sweets. Offerings include fresh seafood, jams and jellies, hot sauces, dried fruits and candies, plants, and repurposed furniture, with additional finds from local artisans and crafters. The setting is the Depot Pavilion in Inverness.

Sparkling fairy hair is setting up at the Brownwood Saturday Market in Brownwood Paddock Square. Choose from more than 30 colors that are heat safe, color and bleach resistant, and made to shine. Each strand is tied to a single hair with no bead and remains until that hair naturally sheds. Pricing starts at $20 for 10 strands, $30 for 15, $40 for 20, $60 for 30, and $80 for 40, with additional quantities available. Many visitors may recognize Erin and Abby, along with a few fellow fairies, from appearances at Electric Light Party, Mardi Gras, Hometown Halloween, the Strawberry Festival, and other local festivities.

Set along the Homosassa River, MacRaes of Homosassa offers waterside dining. This event takes place at The Shed at the venue.

Enjoy a free concert at Crystal River Town Square with live music on a big stage. Attendees are welcome to bring chairs, while coolers and outside alcohol are not permitted. Puttin’ on the Glitz 2026, the signature annual fundraiser from CCCC, Continuity of Care of Citrus County, brings an elegant evening to Citrus Hills Golf & Country Club with a focus on community support. Guests can look forward to a gourmet dinner, music and dancing with DJ TRAE, a cash bar, and professional photography by MPatePhoto. The night also features a live auction, a 50/50 raffle, and gift basket drawings. Proceeds benefit Yayas of Citrus Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit supporting youths and young adults experiencing homelessness. Tickets are $80 per person. The dress code is evening or cocktail attire. Sponsorship opportunities are available at various levels to help strengthen services and resources that uplift the community.
