Participants practice ways to prevent and escape chokeholds from the front, side, or behind, and learn techniques to break free from standing or lifted bear hugs to regain control and reach safety. The curriculum includes third party protection to help safeguard loved ones, ground defenses and responses to assaults when taken down, and strategies for dealing with knives and other weapons. Situational awareness is developed to spot threats early, and prevention and de escalation methods are emphasized to avoid physical conflict whenever possible. Throughout the six weeks, participants also receive full access to Krav Maga and Kickboxing classes. The experience centers on empowerment, confidence, and taking control of personal safety.
