Kick off the school year with a back-to-school themed toddler playgroup at The Arc Nassau. Children can enjoy pretend play, create crafts, and make new friends. This gathering is designed for ages 0 to 5. The cost is $5 per toddler. Space is limited and registration is required in advance.

Riders can look forward to a 4D format where divisional champions in every class receive saddles. Added money grows with participation, with $1,000 added at 75 riders and $500 added at 50 riders, and a $250 minimum guaranteed. Classes offered are open barrels with a $40 entry, youth barrels at $20, peewee barrels at $10, and open poles at $20. Exhibition runs are available for $5 each. The Annual 4-H Banquet is a celebratory evening honoring 4-H youth, volunteers, community partners, and supporters for their dedication and accomplishments throughout the year. It suits families, friends, and anyone looking for a simple creative break in air conditioning. No registration or appointment is required, and walk-ins are welcome. The price is $10 per mystery bin project.

Bring your young builder to a hands-on, imagination-filled session for kids. Participants will have fun creating and exploring different construction ideas, including building with Legos and making structures with building squares. It’s a great opportunity to create, explore, and play in the children’s open area at the library.

Experience a points-only buckle series featuring barrels and poles, with divisions for every age group. Peewee riders up to age 6, juniors 7 to 12, seniors 13 to 18, adults 19 to 40, and senior adults 41 and up can all take part. The arena will be open for warmup before the show, and concessions will be available. The entry fee is $20 per rider. TR members automatically collect points throughout the series, and the finals are reserved for members.
