Registered participants receive two boxes of diapers, one box of wipes, a bag filled with baby essentials and family resources, access to the baby and toddler closet, groceries for the entire family, and opportunities to connect with community partners and support services. Additional giveaway items include 30 car seats, 5 cribs, 3 strollers, and 10 Playpack pens. Families can also look forward to food and refreshments, community support, games, raffles and giveaways, as well as resource vendors and family support services. In its fourth year, this Halloween golf cart parade brings costumed carts and seasonal fun to Cocoa Village. The procession starts on Rosa L Jones Drive and makes two full circuits through the village, making it easy to watch from locations all around the area. Awards will recognize the best-decorated carts, and an official viewing area with a judges station will be at the Kimco Real Estate office. Earlier in the day, the City of Cocoa hosts a fall festival that includes a trick or treat trail through the village along with costume contests for children and pets. Take part in a $30 Pokémon prerelease sealed tournament at Coliseum of Comics. Space is limited and entry is first come, first served, so arriving early improves your chance of securing a seat. If the player cap is reached before registration, the event may start ahead of schedule. If it does not fill, the tournament will begin with the registered players who are present. Each participant builds a deck from a prerelease kit that includes a 22 card pack drawn from current and earlier sets, four booster packs, and one of four alternate art promo cards, with basic Energy provided. Matches use a Swiss format with four prize cards and 20 minute rounds. Players should bring or purchase their own dice or damage counters, along with card sleeves if they want extra protection during play. A Pokémon Player ID is requested if you already have one.
