    Children's Munay Ki

Melbourne · The Chacana Spiritual Center, 101 Brevard Dr W

    Free

A playful Munay Ki and Mesa gathering invites children into a cozy circle where love is expressed through action and exploration. Rooted in Peruvian shamanic wisdom, this experience is designed to help young participants discover who they are, feel safe being themselves, and connect with their own spirituality. The series unfolds across nine meetings, with one gentle rite offered in each class. Attending all sessions provides the complete set of blessings that encourage loving protection, awaken inner wisdom, and nurture a felt sense of connection to the sacred. Along the way, children can form friendships, enjoy creative projects, build confidence, learn simple tools for understanding and working with big emotions, and practice choosing love more often than fear. This gathering is free and supported by love donations. Guidance is provided by Lindsay Hawkins, a Q’ero shaman who carries a full Mesa and trained with Shannon Davis, as well as a certified coach in nervous system regulation and mindset. With deep respect for Andean teachings and a background as a pediatric anesthetist for 22 years, together with CPR certification, she blends clinical insight with spiritual practice to support individuals and families. As a mother of 5-year-old twins, she offers an age-appropriate approach that helps children develop energetic boundaries, connect with the Earth and their own spirit, regulate emotions, and grow in confidence. Her classes and sessions emphasize safety, compassion, and whole-person well-being. Refunds are available for cancellations made at least 24 hours before the class.
