The series revives the feel of summertime gatherings in the town square, with live music from local and regional performers and, in recognition of America 250, an emphasis on Americana sounds rooted in the nation’s musical heritage. Music fills the Plaza de la Constitución as listeners settle beneath its oak trees, and the band plays from the historic gazebo at the center of this centuries-old public space. Alcohol is not allowed in the Plaza, but bringing food for a picnic is welcome. The event is organized by the City of St. Augustine.
