Pomar House Ghost Hunt Flashlight Tour

A lights-out ghost hunt unfolds at Pomar House, a historic 1899 home in the heart of St. Augustine, with flashlights and warm drinks setting the tone for a focused investigation. Once a boarding house, the property is associated with reports of intense paranormal activity and more than seven resident spirits, including a young boy named Jack, an older man named Frank, Delilah, George, and other unexplained presences. Organized by Florida Toy Shows, North Florida Collectorfest moves to the World Golf Village Renaissance St. Augustine Resort with a new venue and three times the space of prior Jacksonville area editions. The show spans two days and features a wide range of collectibles, including toys, comic books, die-cast vehicles, games, retro gaming, artwork, Hot Wheels, and other pop culture items. Admission is $15 for Saturday all day, $10 for Sunday all day, or $20 for a weekend pass. Children under 12 are admitted free and receive a free Hot Wheels.

MBCA Mercedes-Benz & Coffee St. Augustine

All Mercedes-Benz owners and enthusiasts are welcome at a casual coffee meetup at Art 'n Motion. This public gathering takes place in a purpose-built showroom created on the former Yarborough Olds Cadillac Nissan site to showcase classic and rare automobiles while reflecting St. Augustine’s historic character. A portion of the 2019 Geländewagen launch commercial was filmed here. The setting often features vehicles from the founders alongside rare cars displayed by other owners, and some may be available to purchase or rent. The 19,000 square foot brick warehouse also houses House of Assembly Events and Scott Lagasse Racing, which restores and maintains performance stock cars including the Trans Am TA2 class and was established by Scott Lagasse Sr. with Scott Lagasse Jr. continuing to compete. MBCA members will gather for a Spring Luncheon following the coffee meet. If possible, please message the organizers in advance to help estimate how many vehicles to expect.

Celebrate canine companions at the fourth annual Hot Diggity Dog Day from the St. Augustine Humane Society. This free, family friendly gathering blends education and fun with live dog training demonstrations and giveaways. Learn obedience tips with Joey Romer and explore pet CPR with Ariella’s Pet Wellness Academy. Meet Deputy Melanie Merritt and her K9 partner, Daisy Mae, from the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office. The first 50 attendees receive microchip vouchers at no cost. Enjoy complimentary hot dogs from the VFW Veteran's Food Wagon, colorful face painting by Skittles and Friends Clown Entertainment, a visit from the Newfoundland Dog Club, and a selection of local food trucks. Admission, training demonstrations, and featured giveaways, including the latest Pin-Up Paws Calendar, are all free. For the first time at this event, guests can meet adoptable dogs. All proceeds support the Humane Society’s lifesaving programs.

Bonsai & Beer at Jimmy Hula’s St. Augustine offers a friendly introduction to the art of bonsai paired with the option to enjoy a drink with friends. Suitable for both first-timers and seasoned plant lovers, the workshop is led by professional bonsai artist Alex Stanford, owner of Northeast Florida’s oldest bonsai nursery, who teaches core techniques for styling a tree from start to finish. The focus is on tropical varieties that are straightforward to care for. After a short overview of bonsai history and fundamentals, participants get hands-on with potting, pruning, and shaping, and head home with a personalized bonsai to continue nurturing. Each ticket includes a high-quality pre-bonsai tree prepared for training, a glazed ceramic pot, step-by-step instruction, bonsai soil, wire, drainage mesh, fertilizer, and access to all required tools, plus post-workshop care tips and ongoing support. Capacity is limited. Tickets are non-refundable, and changing to a different workshop day requires a 15 dollar rescheduling fee. Beer is available for purchase at the venue and is not included with the workshop.

Science Week 2026

A week of public programs celebrates science across the community, featuring environmental stewardship, a citizen science boat adventure, films, student research, a keynote presentation, and capstone showcases. Some activities are free and open, others are free with advance registration, and one outing is ticketed. The week opens with the NAS Memorial Nature Cleanup at A Street Beach, a free activity that requires registration. Florida Water Tours then offers a Citizen Science Boat Field Experience with Dr. Ed McGinley, with tickets priced at 60 dollars for adults and 20 dollars for children, and registration required. Next, the Tree Advisory Committee observes Arbor Day at the Alumni House with a free gathering that does not require registration. Later, documentaries kick off the celebration in the Flagler Room in Ponce Hall, free with registration. Student work takes center stage with the Science Communication Student Showcase in the Ponce Hall Rotunda, free with no registration needed. The day continues at the Ringhaver Student Center with a keynote address by Gen Anderson, curator at the St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park, free with registration, followed by a meet and greet reception at Tinlin Landing, also free with registration. The finale features Science Symposium capstone presentations in the Virginia Room of the Ringhaver Student Center, free without registration, followed by capstone posters, a reception, and awards at Jay's Place, Bailey Lounge, Back Lobby, also free without registration.

Adult Children of Alcholics - Daily Reader and BRB Study Group

This in-person, English Adult Children of Alcoholics and Dysfunctional Families meeting is open to everyone. It follows a discussion format using the Fellowship Text, also known as the BRB, along with Strengthening My Recovery. Adult Children of Alcoholics and Dysfunctional Families is a Twelve Step, Twelve Tradition program for people raised in dysfunctional homes. Participants talk about the impact of abuse, neglect, and trauma in childhood, how those patterns still show up, and the steps they are taking to address them. The meeting offers a supportive, judgment-free space to mourn what was missing, take an honest look at personal and family histories, identify and heal core wounds, let go of shame and abandonment, and learn to become a loving parent to oneself. Conversation may also touch on the Laundry List, a set of 14 traits often shared by adult children, including isolation and fear of authority, approval seeking that erodes identity, fear of anger and criticism, relationship patterns involving alcoholics or other compulsive personalities, a victim outlook, excessive responsibility for others, guilt when standing up for oneself, a craving for excitement, confusing love with pity and rescuing, numbing or denying feelings, harsh self-judgment and low self-worth, dependence and fear of abandonment, adopting alcoholic family characteristics without drinking, and reacting instead of acting.

Sunset River Jazz Cruise

An adults-only two-hour Sunset River Jazz Cruise along the waterways of St. Augustine features live jazz, artisanal charcuterie, a complimentary glass of boutique wine, and scenic views. Music comes from HighTide Players, performing a mix of jazz standards and timeless favorites. Guitarist Bill Vasileff began on piano at age seven, picked up guitar in high school, studied at the Loyola College of Music in New Orleans, and spent a decade collaborating and learning with accomplished musicians before returning to Jacksonville, where he continues to perform and focuses on teaching and making music. He is joined by percussionist Kevin Bachman, also known as K2, a veteran of more than 35 years who started in a Cincinnati high school garage band and has played clubs, bars, and events across Ohio and Florida, drawing on influences from Miles Davis to the Grateful Dead. Together they bring a fluid, melodic approach as part of HighTide Players in St. Augustine.

Explore Anastasia State Park, part of the Great Florida Birding and Wildlife Trail, on a guided bird walk led by a park volunteer who shares helpful tips along the way. Ethel Cain - The Willoughby Tucker Forever Tour

Ethel Cain brings The Willoughby Tucker Forever Tour to The St. Augustine Amphitheatre, spotlighting the project created by Florida-born multidisciplinary artist Hayden Anhedönia. After teaching herself to produce and releasing early work from home, she relocated to Indiana and crafted the 2021 EP Inbred entirely on her own in the basement of a former church. Her debut album, Preacher’s Daughter, arrived in 2022 after years of development and earned widespread praise from outlets including The New York Times, NPR, Vogue, W Magazine, and V Magazine. In 2025 she released Perverts, conceived in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania and completed in Tallahassee, Florida, a self-produced collection that reaches into drone, noise, slowcore, and ambient sounds and garnered strong critical response. In recent years she has performed sold out shows and major festival sets worldwide, appeared on runways in New York and Paris, and collaborated with Givenchy, Miu Miu, and Calvin Klein, while sharing stages with Florence + the Machine, Mitski, and more. She returns to the stage to introduce the new album Willoughby Tucker, I’ll Always Love You, a prequel to Preacher’s Daughter.
