Beach Cleanup - 6/21/26 (Father's Day)

Join a free public beach cleanup. This event occurs every Sunday from March through September. Individuals, families, and small groups of no more than 4 are welcome. All cleanup supplies are provided. Volunteers will be assigned a bucket, and the trash collected will be weighed at the end. Comfortable clothes, closed-toe shoes or sandals, sunscreen, and a reusable water bottle are recommended. Check in at the Beach Squad tent. Volusia County residents can register for free parking, and paid parking is available at the Sun Splash Park lot for non-residents.

Kids Yoga Colors & Sounds Camp

This playful camp invites children into a vivid exploration of movement, mindfulness, music, and imagination. Framed as a four day chakra adventure, it introduces how energy moves through the body using color, sound, yoga, breath, creativity, and connection. Each day features kid friendly yoga poses, guided meditations, mindful games, stories, movement activities, and creative projects, all designed to help participants practice simple tools that support calm, confidence, balance, self expression, groundedness, and a sense of connection to themselves and the world. Children dive into chakra colors and energy centers, the five elements and five senses, and the relationship between sound, vibration, and mindful awareness. They also learn about foods, stones, and other simple supports that can encourage balance, along with age appropriate introductions to yoga philosophy. Every participant receives a set of chakra colored stones and a themed activity book to continue the experience at home. The focus is on sparking imagination, kindness, inner peace, and joyful connection, all while creating fun summer memories.
