Free events in Winter Haven, FL

Caregivers and seniors can join a free, hands-on in-person session focused on fall prevention, fall safety, and how to get back up after a fall. You’ll practice on mats using fall-protection drills and learn skills designed to help you fall more safely and with more confidence. Two 1-hour sessions are offered, with the first starting at 11:00 AM and the second at 1:00 PM.

Every Saturday, a community market features farmers, food trucks, and local artisans offering fresh produce, handmade pasta, sweet baked items, meats, seafood, and plants. From June through August, hours are shortened because of the heat.

Families can take advantage of a dining promotion where children receive a free meal with the purchase of an adult meal. A happy hour is also available.

Take part in a free weekly poker night at Tipsy Hen. Show up an hour before the game to receive 1,000 bonus chips, or arrive half an hour early for 500. Winners take home Tipsy Hen gift certificates.
