Recorded in Atlanta in 2007 and reissued by Strolling Bones Records in 2026, the album showcases Fowler’s narrative style, blending atmosphere, sincerity, and raw feeling with support from a standout group of players. Fowler’s career spans more than four decades, recognized for expressive phrasing, a rich vibrato, and deeply emotional guitar work. A co founder of Fortnox, Bombay, and Bad Fun, he has appeared on countless recordings and stages, collaborating with artists including Bertie Higgins, Beverly "Guitar" Watkins, and Bill Berry of R.E.M. His credits also include music for the Sundance award winning documentary Dirty Work and the Deadwood Guitar Sessions. Context for the music includes Edmonia Lewis’s marble series on Hiawatha and Minnehaha created between 1866 and 1872 and Samuel Coleridge-Taylor’s 1898 trilogy of cantatas inspired by the same poem. The event features the debut of a new four-hand piano arrangement of Coleridge-Taylor’s work, performed by Evanthia Pangaou and Jet Chong and arranged by Peter Underhill, all doctoral students with UGA’s Hugh Hodgson School of Music. A closing reception celebrates the exhibition with donuts from Café Racer and wine and snacks from the Lark Winespace. Reception admission is $15 per person and complimentary for Reciprocal level members and above, and registration is required.

He now hosts the Tosh Show video podcast with iHeartMedia, which quickly drew millions of plays.
