Anglers gather at Lake Lanier’s Laurel Park Boat Ramp for the iKon Tailgate Tour presented by Mercury Outboards, an open team bass tournament where an iKon boat is not required. Two person teams compete under a five bass limit for largemouth and spots with a 15 inch minimum length. The purse is guaranteed at $20,000, including $10,000 for first place and a $1,000 Big Bass payout. Entry is $350 per team, and no pros are eligible under the event rules. The Tailgate Tour Championship takes place at Lake Chickamauga, TN, with a grand prize of a 2027 iKon VLX20. Teams can qualify by finishing in the top five at a Tailgate Tour stop, earning Team of the Year based on the best of three tournaments, or as the highest finishing iKon boat owner outside the top five.
