A professional tango dancer and teacher since 2010, they trained within the Sistema Dinzel, created by Rodolfo and Gloria Dinzel, a methodology centered on improvisation, technique, musicality, expression, communication, and movement dynamics. After seven years immersed in this system, they continued studying with a range of teachers in Buenos Aires and taught at institutions such as Studio Dinzel, C.E.T.B.A., and Escuela Mundial de Tango GE, also participating in major events like the Festival y Mundial de Tango de Buenos Aires. They have taught, performed, and served on juries at festivals and competitions across Argentina, Peru, Colombia, Uruguay, Mexico, and the United States. Now based in Chattanooga, they offer a thoughtful program that supports each dancer’s development through clear instruction, refined technique, and space for individual expression within the shared language of tango.

Discover the cave and its waterfall on an after-hours tour lit solely by hand-held lanterns. Groups are smaller and the pace is relaxed, with extra time to take in the waterfall. The walk covers about one mile round trip over some uneven surfaces and includes 36 stairs, so guests should be ready to stand, walk, and keep up with the group for up to 120 minutes in low light. This experience is for ages 10 and older. Advance reservations are required, timed entry is in place, and tickets are available online only. Offered on select nights, and availability often sells out quickly.

Michael OBrien appears at Friends of Calhoun's GEM Theatre. A singer and songwriter with more than three decades in full-time ministry, he is known for music centered on mercy and grace. His early 1990s work with Benson Records produced three No. 1 radio singles, including If Ever I Forget, Nothing’s Gonna Turn Me Around, and What Held You on the Cross. He later served as lead singer of Newsong, co-writing and performing the duet with Natalie Grant When God Made You, as well as the worship songs Before the Day and Psalm 40.
