The eighth annual 5K trail race and 1 mile fun run unfolds at Pinecrest Academy on shaded routes across a 68 acre campus. The course blends pavement, wooded dirt paths, grassy stretches and rolling hills, offering a lively challenge that leans more toward adventure than a personal record. The kids mile completes three loops of the school driveway, making it easy for parents to cheer throughout. Participants can run or walk, and the vibe ranges from friendly to fiercely competitive, with athletes, teachers, missionaries and neighbors sharing the course. It continues to grow as a favorite tradition in Forsyth County.
