Texas rock legends deliver hard-driving blues, boogie, and rock from a catalog that spans more than half a century. Known for long beards, hot rods, spinning guitars, and a certain keychain, they have connected with millions on stages across four continents and in the studio. The group took shape in Houston at the close of the 1960s, rose to national attention with Tres Hombres and the hit La Grange, and reshaped their sound and visuals on Eliminator, which propelled MTV favorites Sharp Dressed Man and Legs and earned Diamond certification. Their story includes a Grammy-nominated documentary, induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and official recognition as Heroes of the State of Texas. Influences range from Muddy Waters and B.B. King to British blues rock and Jimi Hendrix. Following Dusty Hill’s passing, Elwood now handles bass for the band. With record sales in the hundreds of millions, they continue to thrive on grit, groove, and unshakable persistence.
