    Sugar Lime Blue

From the Earth Brewing Company, 1570 Holcomb Bridge Rd, Roswell
    Free

A no cover show features Sugar Lime Blue and the band’s Cosmic Cowgirl fusion of Americana, blues, folk, country and jam-infused grooves. For more than a decade, the group has earned a reputation for dynamic live performances and heartfelt recordings that nod to the spirit of 60s and 70s rock while staying rooted in modern roots music. Their latest album, The Blackbird Sessions, recorded at Blackbird Studio in Nashville, reflects resilience and growth. Production began just before the pandemic and continued after the passing of founding bassist Russ Dean in 2020, with Ashley and Dave Beth guiding the project alongside bassist Joe Bass and keyboardist Scott Guberman. The additions of Luis “Slice” Echeverria on keys and Ikaika Pekelo on drums further energized the band on the record and on tour. Praised by fans and reviewers for authenticity, versatility and emotional depth, Sugar Lime Blue blends touches of blues, funk and reggae into a sound that feels both earthy and expansive. With nearly 1,000 performances and stage time shared with Umphrey’s McGee, Moe, The Wood Brothers, Ween and Buddy Guy, the band brings a seasoned, audience-driven show.

    HORDE Festival Revival

From the Earth Brewing Company, 1570 Holcomb Bridge Rd, Roswell · verified Aug 7
    See details

Presented by The Core, this revival celebrates the spirit and energy of the 1990s H.O.R.D.E. tours. The performance assembles songs associated with Widespread Panic, Dave Matthews Band, Phish, Blues Traveler, Big Head Todd and the Monsters, The Allman Brothers Band, Gov't Mule, Spin Doctors, and others, capturing the scope of a full H.O.R.D.E. experience within a single show. It looks back to the years when these bands were emerging, when the music was loose, exploratory, and full of possibility. The set focuses on 1992 to 1998, highlighting tracks that shaped a generation and still resonate, and it nods to a period before phones and streaming, when discovery unfolded live and the music took center stage. The Core features Georgia musicians Josh Carson of Acoustic Workshop and Parts & Labor, Bo Hembree of Dreams So Real and Diablo Sandwich, Chris Queen of Allgood, Phil Keaggy, and Dreams So Real, and David Fisch of David Fisch & The Bent Hooks, with a seasoned rhythm section led by Kevin Leahy (Bodeans, Sugarland, Shawn Mullins, Allgood, Zac Brown), Rob Sumowski (Allgood, Billy Pilgrim, Shawn Mullins, Kevn Kinney, Brent Cobb), and Bill Taylor (Tribute: A Celebration of The Allman Brothers Band, Jupiter Coyote, The Bitteroots). Tickets are $20.
