A free weekly walk at Magic Island Beach Park wraps up with a picnic playdate. All stages of motherhood are welcome, from pregnancy to those with adult children. Participants meet near the front of the parking lot, walk around Magic Island twice, then find a shady spot for a picnic blanket hangout and conversation. Strollers, scooters, and snacks are welcome. FIT4MOM Honolulu leads a family-friendly workout at Fort Ruger Triangle Park. Parents can exercise while children either join the activities or relax on a mat beside them. Participants are welcome to bring a spouse, partner, friend, Tutu, or neighbor, or come solo. Registration includes a free first class. FIT4MOM Honolulu is a community for mothers offering in-person and virtual fitness sessions and bootcamps, along with Mom’s Night Out, playgroups for mamas and keiki, and ohana events for the whole family.

A one-day mineral, jewelry, and gem show fills the Washington Middle School cafeteria in Honolulu with gemstones, minerals, vintage and contemporary jewelry, fossils, and meteorites, all offered by 100% local vendors. Admission is free and parking is free and ample, and the event is open to the public. Organized by members of the Rock and Mineral Society of Hawaiʻi, it provides a hands-on chance to see, touch, and purchase rocks, gems, minerals, fossils, and meteorites while learning about geology and planetary sciences from passionate club members. Expect to find a wide variety of specimens and pieces, including alexandrite, amethyst, agate, aquamarine, jasper, diamond, fossils, garnet, jadeite, meteorite, moldavite, opal, pearls, peridot, quartz crystals, ruby, sapphire, shark teeth, stilbite, tanzanite, topaz, tourmaline, tsavorite garnet, turquoise, zircon, and more from a dozen local vendors.
