Gain lifesaving skills for adults and children in a blended learning CPR and first aid course led by Hamoea Healing Arts LLC, a Licensed Training Provider with the American Red Cross. After registering, an email will arrive with a link to the Red Cross Learning Center to create an account and complete the online home study, which typically takes two to five hours. The online portion must be finished before the in person skills session. Class pricing options include Adult CPR only for $95, Adult and Pediatric CPR without first aid for $110, or the combined First Aid with Adult and Pediatric CPR for $120. To earn a two year certificate, participants must be on time and attend every part of the option they select. There are no refunds for students who do not pass. A separate challenge option is available for those renewing an existing certification. This is a test out rather than a class, so no instruction is provided. Participants must already hold a current equivalent Red Cross certification that is within 30 days of expiring, and proof of current Red Cross certification is required to attend. The process begins with a written exam followed by scenario based assessments. A score of at least 80 percent and successful demonstration of all required skills without assistance on the first attempt are required to earn renewal. Testing usually takes between 50 and 90 minutes. If you do not pass, you cannot retest immediately and will need to complete a full class to renew. There are no refunds if you fail. An optional online refresher can be added for $25 to $35, depending on the course, to brush up before testing. Challenge course pricing is $90 for Adult CPR only, $105 for Adult and Pediatric and/or Infant CPR, and $110 for First Aid with Adult and Pediatric CPR. Group recertification sessions and full trainings can be arranged. Payment is accepted by PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, or Zelle, and tuition is nonrefundable if you cancel or do not pass.
