A community-led drum and dance circle takes place at the Cove on the right side of Baldwin Beach Park in Paia, Maui. People who drum or dance, percussionists, musicians, and those who simply want to listen are welcome, including Maui residents and considerate visitors. Bring a djembe, drum, shaker, or other acoustic percussion instrument if you have one, or enjoy listening and moving to the beat. Come prepared with drinking water, sun and wind protection, a blanket or beach chair, a light for packing up, and a bag for your belongings. The gathering depends on the weather, and the exact spot may shift slightly within the Cove based on beach conditions, so check the Page or public Group for the latest details before heading over. A first generation American with Brazilian and Italian roots, he weaves influences from his background and 90s upbringing into his act. He began in New York while studying at the Tisch School of the Arts, shaping his voice in the backrooms and bars of the city’s alternative comedy scene.
