Friday Night Taps
Friday Night Taps is a weekly tradition at the American Legion that brings the community together on Friday evenings to honor fallen heroes. During colder months the observance takes place inside the post among the fellowship of family and friends. When the weather is mild it moves outdoors, where the bugle call carries across the open air and the flag stands against the sky. This ceremony offers a quiet time to pause, remember, and pay tribute to those who served, with every note of Taps sounded in their honor. To have a specific person recognized during a Friday ceremony, call the bar and ask for manager Chuck Duggan for assistance. Open to all.
