Simple Company Duo brings a set of singer songwriter rock originals with Midwestern roots to Roll On Records. This showcase centers on original material shaped by that backdrop.
Roll-On-RecordsTaste of Dubuque: Friday Night "The Outside Scoop" + Open Play
Enjoy an easy night out with the Taste of Dubuque Summer Series, where local flavors and kid-friendly fun meet in one stop. A local food truck sets up outside for dinner or a treat, and children can enjoy indoor play in the cafe. Parents can choose from a full coffee bar and other drinks, while smoothies, snacks, and options for kids are available inside. Order at the truck, then head indoors for play available throughout the event. Stay as long as your play pass allows and skip the cooking and cleanup.
Goose & Giggles Play Cafe2026 Corporate and Community Games
Area Residential Care’s 26th Annual Corporate and Community Games is a major fundraiser that supports its mission to empower people with intellectual disabilities to reach the highest quality of life. Businesses from the tri-state area assemble teams of 8 to 12 players to face off in a variety of team-building activities, brain-teasing challenges, and physical games. Lighthearted competition drives a meaningful cause, turning friendly play into real support.
Friday Night Taps
At the American Legion, Friday Night Taps is a simple, heartfelt tradition that brings the community together for a weekly moment of remembrance. In the cooler months the ceremony is held inside the post, surrounded by friends and family. When the weather is kind it moves outdoors, where the bugle carries across the open air and the flag stands against the sky. This quiet observance invites reflection and honors those who have given so much, with each note of Taps paying tribute to their sacrifice and enduring legacy. To have a loved one recognized during a future ceremony, please contact the bar and ask for manager Chuck Duggan for assistance. Everyone is welcome.
