Now based in Geneseo, Illinois, he blends Midwestern storytelling with a polished Nashville touch. Wicked Liz & The Bellyswirls close the show with their long-running pop rock Americana sound. Formed in 1999, the band is known for high-energy performances, a devoted Midwest following, more than 1,200 shows, five albums, and a 2025 induction into the Iowa Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. They carry on with strength and heart as they honor the legacy of longtime drummer Greg Hipskind. Attendees can bring a lawn chair and settle in, and seating is limited with support from Simply Amish Interiors. Food and beverages will be available for purchase from local spots including Bad Boyz Pizza and Pub, Dead Poet’s Espresso, The River House, Bent River Brewing Company, Pour Bros. Craft Taproom Moline, and Sins Tavern.

Spanning more than 50 venues and public spaces, the festival features over 200 performances and experiences that encourage exploring bars, art spaces, performance halls, parks, patios, storefronts, and surprising pop-up locations. Rather than being confined to a single gated area, it is designed for discovery and connection, offering opportunities to encounter nationally touring artists, local creatives, film screenings, murals, comedy, interactive programming, and more while highlighting the businesses and downtown districts that shape the QC. Founded in 2017 by the Downtown Davenport Partnership, this multi-day event is powered by that organization in collaboration with the Downtown Bettendorf Organization and the Rock Island Downtown Alliance. It is presented by the Regional Development Authority and Rhythm City Casino Resort, with support from partners including Luxtown.com, the Jeff and Reggie Goldstein Family Foundation, Scott County Regional Authority, Bechtel Trust, T-Fiber, The Last Picture House, Quad City Arts, Nature’s Treatment of Illinois, Express Employment Professionals, Visit Quad Cities, and media partners KWQC, Townsquare Media, Planet 93.9, and WQPT, with Hive Event Consulting as producing partner. The Alternating Currents app helps attendees explore the lineup, locate venues, build a personal schedule, and stay up to date throughout the festival.
