Open Mic Night

An open mic evening at Winnie & Mo's Bookshop invites performers of all kinds and supportive listeners to share in a creative showcase. Sets run about five to ten minutes, with a limit of twelve performers. A sign up list opens on the day of the event. All ages are welcome, though some performances may include mature content. This recurring series takes place on the first Wednesday of each month.

World of Pets: Planet Arts 2026

Kids ages 5 to 9 can enjoy a Wednesday summer series of $4 art classes at the Willard Arts Center, all devoted to a colorful world of pets. This session focuses on drawing a guinea pig. Over the season, projects explore iguanas painted in bright colors, dogs created with metal embossing, canaries in oil pastels, goldfish and other fish made from tissue paper, horses sketched in chalk, snakes shaped from air dry clay, cat themed monoprints, and pet rocks with small homes.

Triumph Demo Days (Tigers & Scramblers)

Get a feel for Triumph’s Tiger and Scrambler all-road lineup with a hands-on demo day at Triumph Idaho Falls. Demo rides of select models will be available, and the first 20 riders receive exclusive Triumph swag. You’ll also be able to connect with fellow riders and Triumph experts. Demo gear is required to ride, including a full-face helmet (or helmet and eye protection), gloves, over-the-ankle boots, and long pants or long sleeves, plus a valid driver’s license with a motorcycle endorsement.

3-Gun Match

Join a 3-Gun/Multi-Gun match modeled after USPSA, featuring a mix of steel, cardboard, clay pigeon, and paper targets. Competitors use rifles, shotguns, pistols, and pistol caliber carbines (PCC). Rifles are limited to .308 or lower, and pistol and PCC are limited to .45 or lower. Magnum, steel penetrator, and tracer rounds aren’t allowed. The course uses props like simulated walls, openings, and shooting areas to test accuracy, speed, and agility.

Pints 'N Purrs

Raise a glass for a good cause at an annual fundraiser supporting low-cost spay and neuter services for pets in the community. Expect beer, food, live music and raffles, with performances by Paige Anne and Judd Erickson and tacos from Park Avenue Grill available for purchase. Entry is $20 and includes two beers plus a coupon for one free beer to use on a return visit, with a $5 entry option for designated drivers. Hess & Co. Studio presents an open mic at Hops N' Paws that is open to all ages and welcoming to families, with The Brothers Baloney highlighted at the start and finish of the program. This gathering marks the fourth installment of the Summer Series collaboration between the studio and the venue. Performer sign ups open half an hour beforehand and capacity is limited, so early arrival is recommended. Each participant may share up to two songs. A microphone, keyboard and full sound support are provided, and musicians can bring their own instruments. Vocalists may use backing tracks by connecting a device. Bat Night

Experience an evening devoted to Idaho’s bats at the zoo after dark. Bat specialists from BYU-Idaho and Idaho National Laboratory share insights into local species, why they matter, and how the zoo contributes to habitat protection and ongoing study. The program begins in the William J. Maeck Education Center with hands-on activities and a brief presentation. After sunset, continue with a tour of the grounds to observe nocturnal animals and the wild bats that visit the zoo to feed. Interactive displays and activities are planned for all ages. Advance registration is required, and on-site sales are not available. Admission is 6 dollars per person for ages three and up, with free entry for children two and under.

Little Learners is a monthly program for children ages 2 to 5 and their parents or caregivers. Each session features a new theme explored through creative crafts, engaging games, lively songs, and simple snacks. The 8th Annual Snake River Truck Show features a pre-party at Prestine Detailing in Rigby, Idaho, followed by the main event at McCowin Park in Ammon, Idaho. Get ready to meet Idaho’s requirements for the Enhanced Concealed Weapons License with this hands-on class at Eagle Rock Gun School and Range. You’ll need to bring the handgun you plan to use for the class (single action revolvers are not permitted), along with a strong hip holster and a belt that securely holds the gun on your firing-hand side. Bring the required magazines or speed loaders, plus eye and ear protection and about 200 rounds of commercial ammunition with no reloads. If you don’t have the right equipment, firearms and magazines are available for rent for $35 by arrangement.

The experience includes three outdoor yoga sessions with a slow, grounding focus, a guided hike in the mountains, and a personalized facial led by licensed esthetician Hannah Klink with education for caring for your skin at home. Long Range Regional

The Long Range Regional tournament at Unified Sportsmen’s Club is a high power prone and F-class competition open to the public. Competitors will shoot stages including 800, 900, and 1000-yard slow fire rounds, with practice on Friday and match rounds running through the weekend. Registration starts in the pits on Friday morning, and firing begins after registration and a safety briefing. Range sign-in at the clubhouse is required, and scoring uses electronic targets with phones or tablets required.

Kick off the new school year with a downtown teen night filled with music, dancing, and upbeat energy. This free event brings teens together under the lights in Idaho Falls for games, giveaways, and plenty of good vibes. The first 100 kids receive free pizza and soda. Akasha, part of the Elements Sound Bath series, invites a restorative journey through sound while touching on music theory, sacred geometry, and the five elements of Ayurveda. Nicole Celeste Packer curates an immersive soundscape shaped by the element of the month, drawing from a wide array of world instruments that may include crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, Native American flutes, gongs, chimes, rain sticks, drums, harmonium, and voice. The experience begins with a moment to set a personal intention, then encourages deep relaxation in a serene environment. A thoughtfully paired herbal tea reflecting the featured element is offered, and there is time afterward to connect with fellow participants and integrate insights from the practice and its ancient influences. AMROCK Assault 2026 is an onsite CrossFit team competition for 2-person teams, with options for MM, FF, or MF pairings. Teams compete across three divisions: RX, Intermediate, and Foundations.
