No needles are required, because the blanket is created with hand knitting. Everyone finishes with a soft blanket tucked into a blanket bag and a practical new skill. You can choose a looser or tighter knit, so finished sizes vary. The tightest approach creates a blanket around 45 by 42 inches, and most turn out larger. Version 5.0 of this masked karaoke trivia contest brings teams together for a spirited night at Tebala Event Center. Building on four previous competitions that have distributed more than $20,000, twelve teams, each linked to a business sponsor and a local nonprofit, face three rounds of trivia and perform karaoke evaluated by celebrity judges. The top prize is $8,000, provided by MediCare411, awarded to the winning team’s chosen local nonprofit. Additional $1,000 awards go to the highest-scoring trivia team and karaoke team that do not claim the grand prize, and there is a bonus cash award for the nonprofit connected to the most audience ticket sales.
