The 62nd annual GSR Oktoberfest packs a full day of German tradition into one celebration. Enjoy authentic dishes prepared by Café 20 from Marengo along with German beer. Activities include a booth for puppy kisses with adoptable pups, raffles, a 50-50 and Pitbull themed merchandise, with more in store. Owners of Pitbulls adopted from Noah’s Ark are invited to apply for their dogs to take part in the show.

At The Mill Saloon, HITWAVE 80'S delivers a synth-powered tribute to the decade when pop embraced electronic beats and bold hooks. The show features dance floor favorites and new wave classics from artists such as Madonna, Duran Duran, the Go-Go's, Depeche Mode, Blondie, New Order, Eurythmics, Pet Shop Boys, the Human League, the Cars, and more. Martin Memorial Park hosts a team-based channel catfish tournament on boundary waters stretching from north of the Milan Dam to the Wisconsin border. Teams of one to three anglers may fish with up to six rods and a five fish limit per team, and the field is capped at 30 teams. Entry is $50 per team, with optional $25 side pots for Big Channel and Big Flat. Only rod and reel methods are allowed, and anglers must keep at least 50 yards from any anchored boat. No lines may be in the water before the official start, and a chip check-in is required by the stated deadline or disqualification may occur. All fish must be alive and healthy and must be released; if a fish is not lively or does not swim off on its own, disqualification will result. King, and Stevie Ray Vaughan. The performance also includes original pieces shaped by those influences.
