Catfish anglers gather at Martin Memorial Park for the 6th Annual Rock Monsters Tournament, a team competition focused on flathead and channel catfish. Teams of one to three anglers fish the boundary waters from north of the Milan Dam to the Wisconsin border. Each team may use up to six rods and present a five fish bag. Rod and reel are required, with no bank poles or other methods allowed, and boats must remain at least 50 yards from any anchored boat. Entry is $75 per team, with an optional big fish category for $25, and participation is limited to 30 teams. All fish must be alive and healthy and must be released, and any fish that does not swim away under its own power will result in disqualification. Registration takes place at Martin Memorial Park before fishing begins, no lines may enter the water until the official start, and chips must be returned by the posted deadline to avoid disqualification. Disputes are handled by tournament directors Jon Race and Ernest McKee, and cheating will result in disqualification and a permanent ban from Rock Monster Tournament Series and Monsters on the Fox Tournament Series events. Martin Memorial Park hosts a team-based channel catfish tournament on boundary waters stretching from north of the Milan Dam to the Wisconsin border. Entry is $50 per team, with optional $25 side pots for Big Channel and Big Flat. Only rod and reel methods are allowed, and anglers must keep at least 50 yards from any anchored boat. No lines may be in the water before the official start, and a chip check-in is required by the stated deadline or disqualification may occur. All fish must be alive and healthy and must be released; if a fish is not lively or does not swim off on its own, disqualification will result.
