Robert’s Westside presents Bobby’s Irish Sessions, hosted by Quin Cunningham and Miriam Attia. Admission is free. The session sets up on the deck in front of the window, creating a relaxed spot for music and conversation. Instruction also includes dunun, the cylindrical bass drums, and dununs are provided. Djembe drums can be rented if needed for $5 per day to Taylor. A djembe specialist since 1994, Taylor teaches with an emphasis on carrying forward the traditions shared by Master Drummer mentors. Tuition is $20 per class, cash preferred, and the rate is negotiable for those experiencing financial hardship or for families with youth older than seven. Robert's Westside and WBEZ Chicago present the second annual Food Aid Block Party, an all-ages outdoor gathering centered on live music, food, cocktails and community spirit. The lineup features High & Lonesome, Strawdaddy, Pipes, GirlCade and Rock Hands Music. Admission is free, and voluntary donations will be welcomed at the entrance to help reach a $20,000 fundraising goal for Food Aid. Food Aid works to prevent hunger and recognizes access to food as a human right, using music and entertainment to support community organizations focused on food insecurity. Beneficiaries include A House In Austin, Austin Eats Initiative, Best Of Proviso Township, Beyond Hunger, the Oak Park Community Fridges and Westchester Food Pantry.

Chicago's Own Piano Man Band takes the stage at Norridge Fest with an eight-piece ensemble, presenting a performance that honors America's 250th year. The show will be held at Divine Savior Church.
