A family-friendly car show and open house honors Bruce Nielsen while supporting Friends Forever Humane Society and the animals in its care. Spectators receive free entry and can enjoy music, food, raffles, and door prizes while exploring an array of vehicles competing for Top 40 awards, including Best of Show. Held rain or shine at Friends Forever Humane Society, all proceeds benefit FFHS and its mission to help shelter animals.

Safe Sitter is a single day class for students in grades 6 through 8 who want to be prepared when staying home alone, caring for younger siblings, or babysitting. Participants learn how to respond to choking and practice CPR and choking rescue with mannequins. The course also covers what to do during severe weather and reinforces skills through activities and role playing. This program is presented in partnership with SSM Health Monroe Hospital and Clinics. Registration is required. The cost is $60 for members and $80 for non-members. Sign up online or at the YMCA.

Celebrate the finale of the 2026 concerts on the square with a community night in partnership with Green County Cheese Days. A leading Milwaukee dance band keeps the energy high with a big, crowd-moving sound that closes the summer block party and kicks off Cheese Days weekend. Music takes place on the Martha Bernet Stage on the south side of the square. The summer concert series is supported by the Colony Brands Foundation, and intermission is made possible by the John and Katie Baumann Inspiration Project.

The Mascot Theory returns to Cheese Days with a performance in the Hospitality Tent at the Cheese Days Festival.
