This two day celebration of bluegrass features leading professional bands from around the country. It offers a family friendly atmosphere with plenty of food, camping options, jamming, and opportunities for fellowship. No tickets are required, and donations are appreciated.

Led by Joshua Blackwell, this Live to Learn session from DHNC explores the expanding role of industrial hemp in East Central Illinois and how it can be used in both home and commercial construction. Topics include hemp-based materials that resist mold, pests, and fire, contain no VOCs, and naturally balance indoor humidity, which can cut energy use by up to 50 percent. These materials are also noted for long-term durability, gaining strength as they age while remaining more flexible than conventional concrete. This adult program is free, and donations are appreciated.

Harvest of Hope Family Concert at Peterson Park in Mattoon, Illinois brings performances by MercyMe, Tasha Layton, and Sam Wesley, presented by WBGL and Rural King.
