Buzz Around the Barnyard at Honey Bee Gardens Farm offers a relaxed, family friendly way to enjoy fresh air and the simple rhythms of farm life. There is time to wander, explore at your own pace, and connect with nature together. Each visit can bring something new, from colorful seasonal blooms and playful animal moments to hands-on activities and quiet places to unwind. The Farm Market features local honey, seasonal produce, flowers, handmade goods, and farm themed treats to take home. Around the barn and pastures, guests can meet goats, chickens, bunnies, horses, cats, pigs, a llama, and other friendly animals. Explore flower beds and pollinator habitats, learn how plants, insects, and animals support one another, and tap into creativity at the Exploration Station with crafts and projects suited for curious kids and creative minds. Catch and release fishing is available, with basic guidance from experienced anglers that helps first timers and young explorers get started. The farm shop and concessions carry local honey, farm fresh snacks, and seasonal goodies. Weekends bring new discoveries and seasonal highlights, along with plenty of space to slow down and simply be.

A women’s sand 4s volleyball tournament takes place at the Four Lakes volleyball courts, welcoming full teams of four women or free agents who want to be placed with a team. Matches are played on a women’s net with women as the primary hitters, and there is a single division with BB/A level players recommended. To secure a spot, message Court Kittens directly. Payment is due at sign up, with early bird pricing at $160 and $200 thereafter. Teams play three to four pool matches before moving into playoffs, with at least one playoff match guaranteed. Advancement is determined by wins, losses, and total points. Event rules include no tipping with an open hand, use a closed fist or knuckles, let serves are allowed, overhead sets that cross the net must be square and intentional, hand setting on serves or free balls is not permitted while setting hard driven attacks or roll shots is allowed, jump setting is permitted, and men may not substitute. Champions receive T shirts and prize money, dependent on the number of teams that register.
